- Officials first reported seven people shot and at least one outlet later updated the toll to eight after an additional victim arrived at a hospital with a graze wound.
- Victims include juveniles and three people who suffered serious injuries, and authorities said all were reported in stable condition the following day.
- Tuscaloosa officers provided immediate medical aid when they arrived at about 10:48 p.m., and Tuscaloosa Fire Rescue, NorthStar EMS, the county sheriff and University of Alabama police helped secure the scene and hospitals.
