MSI Unveils Triple‑Mode QD‑OLED Gaming Monitor

The new 32‑inch model lets players trade native 4K for much higher refresh rates to suit both immersive and competitive play with pricing and independent testing still pending.

Overview

  • MSI announced the MPG OLED 322URDX36 as a monitor that can switch between 4K at 360Hz, 1440p at 520Hz, and 1080p at 680Hz to give players a choice between resolution and speed.
  • The display uses a Samsung QD‑OLED panel built on fourth‑generation RGB Penta Tandem technology, which MSI says combines quantum dot color with an OLED stack to boost brightness and color accuracy.
  • MSI says the screen includes a DarkArmor film to deepen blacks by up to 40% and improves surface hardness to 3H for 2.5 times the scratch resistance of the prior model.
  • The monitor carries modern I/O and platform support, including DisplayPort 2.1 (80 Gbps), NVIDIA G‑Sync compatibility, VESA DisplayHDR True Black 600 and VESA ClearMR 18000 certification.
  • MSI will show the model at Computex but has not published price, a release date, or independent performance reviews, and real‑world use will depend on high‑bandwidth cables and powerful GPUs.
