- Income Tax officials in Ranchi, who briefed reporters Thursday, confirmed MS Dhoni led individual taxpayers for the region and withheld his exact tax figure.
- The department reported about Rs 20,000 crore in collections for FY 2025–26, with Jharkhand contributing roughly Rs 12,000 crore, or close to 60% of the total.
