Overview
- Investigators released images and mapped a route linked to two bicyclists believed to be involved in the Oct. 8 defacement of Temple Israel.
- Graffiti on the south wall referenced the Oct. 7 Hamas attacks and used symbols that police say normalize violence against the Jewish community.
- The suspects wore dark hooded sweatshirts, masks, and blue surgical gloves and traveled by bike, according to surveillance video.
- Cameras captured them arriving via W. 24th St. to Fremont Ave., appearing at W. 25th St. and Humboldt Ave., and last seen heading south at W. 26th St. and Irving Ave.
- MPD urged residents to review footage from 2–3 a.m. on Oct. 8 and submit tips to policetips@minneapolismn.gov or 612-673-5845, with anonymous options through CrimeStoppers.
