MP Credits Rs 1,836 Crore to 1.25 Crore Women as CM Announces Khandwa and Burhanpur Projects

  • The disbursement was presented as the scheme’s 33rd monthly instalment, taking total transfers to Rs 52,304 crore, according to the government.
  • At the Khandwa event, the CM laid foundations worth over Rs 252 crore and inaugurated completed works of Rs 352.41 crore.
  • Additional Pandhana projects totalling Rs 608 crore were announced, including the Rs 301.41 crore Bham Irrigation Project, a Sandipani School, a Joint SDM office, a bus stand complex, and plans for a Sukta micro lift irrigation project and an onion processing unit.
  • In Burhanpur, the government dedicated projects worth Rs 696 crore and flagged a planned agriculture-based industry conclave, a banana value-add unit, youth skill training, a kirtan centre, and assurances on clearing cotton mill worker dues.
