- Security fixes stop after the Firefox ESR 115 cycle concludes at the end of February 2026, with ESR 115.33 slated as the final update on February 24 alongside Firefox 148.
- Installations on Windows 7, 8 and 8.1 were moved to ESR 115 after Firefox 115 in July 2023, and no further Firefox updates will follow from March 2026.
- Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge ended support for these operating systems earlier, leaving no maintained mainstream browser on those platforms.
