Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Damers Road Lorry Crash

Police say the rider sustained serious but not life-threatening injuries after the evening collision in Dorchester.

Emergency services were called at about 6:44–6:45pm on Monday to a crash involving a lorry and a motorbike on Damers Road near The Range.
Police confirmed the motorcyclist was taken to Dorset County Hospital with serious injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.
The road was closed during the response and reopened at approximately 8:15pm.
South Western Ambulance Service deployed a double-crewed ambulance and a rapid response vehicle and transported one patient by land ambulance.
Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue said a Charmouth crew assisted with scene safety and casualty care and reported clear at 7:09pm.
