Overview
- CHP responded just after 3:05 p.m. to a report of a motorcycle crash on eastbound I-80 west of University Avenue.
- Officers found the rider had been ejected from the motorcycle and died on the westbound side of the freeway.
- Preliminary findings indicate the motorcycle was involved with an Acura TSX and a Honda Accord.
- All involved drivers remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators, according to CHP.
- Multiple lanes on both sides of the freeway were closed during the investigation and were expected to reopen after about 7 p.m.
