Motorcyclist Killed in Collision With Pickup Truck

Overview

• Police found the motorcyclist, later identified as 31-year-old Jason Marshall of Taunton, with serious injuries and he was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
• Responding officers located a damaged 1999 Suzuki TL 1000 motorcycle and debris scattered through the intersection of Route 138 and Elm Street.
• A 2015 Chevy Silverado was also in the intersection with heavy damage to the right driver’s side and its 57-year-old driver remained on scene and spoke with police.
• The Bristol County District Attorney’s Office said the State Police Detective Unit and Raynham Police are conducting an active investigation and have not announced any charges.
• Investigators will continue evidence collection and crash reconstruction before reaching conclusions, and the inquiry will determine whether any formal actions follow.
