Motorcyclist Killed in A19 Crash Near Chapel Haddlesey

Police are asking witnesses, especially the driver of a red Seat Ibiza, to come forward to help establish how the collision occurred.

  • The collision happened on the A19 north of Chapel Haddlesey at about 1.50pm on Friday and involved a black Honda motorcycle and a red Vauxhall Corsa.
  • The 34-year-old motorcyclist from the Selby area was taken to hospital and was later pronounced deceased despite treatment by medical staff.
  • An 18-year-old man driving the red Vauxhall Corsa is cooperating with North Yorkshire Police enquiries.
