Overview
- A motorcycle rider died after being run over by a semitrailer on Highway 371 in Shingobee Township, Cass County, just south of Leech Lake.
- State Patrol officials said the southbound semi made a sudden move onto the right shoulder toward the motorcycle, the bike struck a cable barrier, and the rear of the truck ran over the rider.
- Authorities identified the motorcyclist as 30-year-old Roy John Berger of Vadnais Heights and said he died at the scene.
