Overview
- A Dodge Durango exited a private drive and hit an eastbound yellow Suzuki motorcycle on 18 Mile Road east of Mound Road in Sterling Heights.
- The impact threw the 35-year-old rider from the motorcycle.
- The motorcycle was pushed into westbound lanes, where a silver Dodge Nitro struck it.
- The rider was taken to a Metro Detroit hospital and later died from his injuries.
- Police say alcohol does not appear to be a factor so far and ask witnesses to contact the Sterling Heights Police Department.
