- Following Monday's storms, a rare “wake low” behind the rain unleashed sudden winds near 70 to 77 mph that cut power across southeast Wisconsin, West Michigan, northwest Indiana and the Chicago area.
- ComEd said outages that hit 61,000 Monday evening were 98% restored by Tuesday, with the last repairs expected by 6 p.m.
- We Energies reported restoring more than 35,000 customers Monday night and said remaining southeast Wisconsin outages should be fixed Tuesday afternoon.
