- A Clawson Farms poll of 2,000 UK adults published on Thursday found about two thirds report disliking blue cheese even though many respondents have never sampled it.
- Younger adults report being adventurous but are least likely to have tried Stilton, with 43% of Gen Z saying they have never tasted it and 60% sticking to mild cheddar.
- Among people who have not tried blue cheese, 41% cited its smell, 40% its appearance, 32% the visible mould and 31% its perceived strength as reasons to avoid it.
