- Morrisons made the two specials available in all 343 Morrisons Cafés from Friday, June 5, as part of its National Fish & Chip Day offer.
- The Fish & Chip Afternoon Tea for Two includes six fish bites, six scampi, bread and butter, chunky chips, a choice of mushy peas or curry sauce, and two fruit scones with jam and clotted cream.
- The Giant Fish & Chips is a separate £15 option featuring a very large portion of fish served with chips and mushy peas, with both meals sold at the same fixed price.
- Morrisons frames the launch as a value-led, generous portion promotion and quotes Will Reed, senior buying manager for cafés, saying the dishes deliver a classic chippy taste at great value.
