Overview
- Moon Studios announced Tuesday that it has pushed the full 1.0 launch of No Rest for the Wicked from October 2026 to March 2027 because the build "isn't there yet."
- The studio said the delay will let the team improve gameplay performance, refine and tighten the new class system, and add additional polish before exit from Early Access.
- Moon Studios will run more closed tests and a final open beta in December 2026 to collect community feedback and treat that test as the last major public playtest before the March release.
- The 1.0 launch will first arrive on PC via Steam and PlayStation 5, PlayStation pre-orders and Founders Pack eligibility for console players will open in January 2027, and Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch 2 dates remain to be announced.
- No Rest for the Wicked entered PC Early Access on April 18, 2024, has drawn substantial player interest during its run, and reporting on engagement and sales has varied across outlets, with some outlets citing roughly a million to two million copies sold.
