- On Aug. 23, Upper Pottsgrove Cpl. Sean Farrell shot 22‑year‑old Glenwood “Bubba” Pysher IV on a back patio after homeowners reported a possible break‑in and officers arrived at the scene.
- Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin Steele said a review of Farrell’s body‑worn camera shows Pysher raised his hands, was unarmed and posed no threat when Farrell fired two shots that struck Pysher in the chest.
- Steele announced a voluntary manslaughter charge on Sept. 1, Farrell turned himself in and was arraigned with bail set at $75,000, and a preliminary hearing is scheduled for Sept. 10.
