Overview
- A newborn's body was found alongside the 100 block of Struve Road north of Moss Landing, and first responders confirmed the infant was dead when they arrived on Saturday.
- Investigators released photos of a beige 2010 Mercury Milan with plate 6HCR883 and announced the vehicle was located and recovered on Thursday as part of the probe.
- Detectives are asking anyone who saw the car or its occupants on Aug. 1 or Aug. 2 and anyone with dashcam or surveillance video to contact investigators at the numbers provided by the sheriff's office.
