Overview
- The arrival of the southwest monsoon this week has lowered daytime highs across Telangana from above 42°C to around 39°C and produced cooler pockets such as Sangareddy, which recorded a 32.7°C maximum.
- Rain was recorded in 198 of the state’s 621 mandals with widely varying intensity: very light in 101 mandals, light in 73 mandals, and moderate in 24 mandals.
