Modesto Man Gets 6 Years 8 Months for Stalking and Break-In Sexual Assault

He still faces federal drug-trafficking charges that could bring more penalties.

Overview

  • Cristian Alejandro Solorio Anguiano, 28, was sentenced to six years and eight months in state prison after a no-contest plea to felony stalking and breaking into a home to commit a sex act.
  • Prosecutors said the term is the maximum allowed under California law, and he must register as a sex offender for life.
  • The case began in February 2025 when he fixated on a woman he saw at work, showed up repeatedly, loitered outside, asked her out several times, and sent a letter saying he wanted to take her to Mexico.
  • After learning where she lived, he broke into her Ceres home on May 21, 2025, and the woman awoke to him licking and biting her toes before she calmed him with conversation and relatives ordered him to leave.
  • Detectives identified and arrested him using surveillance footage and the victim’s statement, and prosecutors said he admitted breaking in to contact her, with separate federal drug charges still pending.
