Overview
- Activision and Infinity Ward confirmed a two-weekend beta with an Early Access window for pre-orders from August 21–25 and an Open Beta from August 28–September 1.
- Early Access will let players play the single-player mission 'Entrenched', marking the first time a Call of Duty campaign mission is offered in a beta.
- The Open Beta adds Warzone’s new Resurgence map 'Zodiac' plus large-scale Ground War and expands platform support to include Nintendo Switch 2.
- The DMZ extraction mode will not appear in either beta and remains scheduled to launch with the full game on October 23, with digital pre-order campaign access starting October 16.
- Activision says the content-heavy beta and the Call of Duty Next showcase on August 21 are meant to test servers, gather gameplay balance feedback, and rebuild player confidence after last year’s reception.
