Mob Targets Kuki Zo Council Chief’s Home in Manipur as Officer Is Wounded

Officials say unrest followed reports of militants at the leader’s residence.

  • In a separate incident on Monday in Ukhrul district, police said a woman was injured when armed miscreants fired at villagers, with a Kuki CSO group alleging village volunteers carried out the attack.
