Miriam Margolyes Plans Permanent Move to Italy, Citing Brexit Hurdles

Miriam Margolyes, who appeared on The Romesh Ranganathan Show, confirmed Saturday she wants to leave the UK to spend her remaining years in Italy with partner Heather Sutherland.
She said Brexit stops her from living in the home she owns there and that she may seek Dutch or Italian nationality.
The actor noted she already holds British and Australian passports and asked how many she must hold to live in her own house.
Margolyes also spoke about her health, recalling a 2023 transcatheter aortic valve replacement and mobility issues that keep mortality on her mind.
