Overview
- Screenings focus on five cancers using standard methods: cervical (HPV test, Pap, IVA), breast (bilateral mammogram), prostate (PSA), colon and rectum (fecal occult blood test), and skin (specialized clinical exam).
- Eligibility follows defined age and sex criteria, including women 25–64 for cervical, women 40–69 for breast, men 50–75 for prostate, adults 50–75 for colon and rectum, and adults 18–70 for skin.
- No insurance, referral, or appointment is required, and service is available at health establishments across Peru upon presentation of a DNI.
- The campaign is managed by Minsa’s Directorate of Prevention and Control of Cancer (Dpcan) and operates nationwide until Saturday, February 28, 2026.
