Milwaukee Police Investigating Six Separate Non-Fatal Shootings Since Friday

Police urge tips to help identify suspects in the unrelated cases.

  • Investigators detailed four separate shootings reported Saturday across the city, including incidents at 4:18 a.m. on W. Mount Vernon Ave and later at 9:10 p.m., 9:58 p.m., and 11:39 p.m.
  • Two additional shootings were reported Friday night about 15 minutes apart, with a 35-year-old wounded near N. Teutonia Ave around 9:45 p.m. and a 30-year-old injured near W. Atkinson Ave around 10 p.m.
  • All six victims were taken to hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries, and police reported no arrests in any of the cases.
  • Officers said the Saturday night shootings near 53rd and Clarke and near 18th and Highland, by Marquette University, are not connected.
  • MPD crime data show 127 non-fatal shootings through May 14 this year, which is 44 fewer than at the same time in 2025.
