Milan Police Arrest Fares Bouzidi on Suspicion of €15,000 Motorcycle Theft

The 23-year-old previously convicted in the 2024 scooter case now faces a fast-track hearing prompted by a citizen tip.

Overview

  • Officers intercepted Bouzidi late on Feb. 7 in Via Pirandello after residents reported two youths pushing a parked motorcycle.
  • Police say the targeted bike was a Yamaha valued at about €15,000 and was reportedly taken from Via Marenco before the stop.
  • Bouzidi was arrested with a 19-year-old companion, while two other young men aged 21 and 22 were identified and reported.
  • The pair spent the night in a police holding cell ahead of a direttissima hearing expected on Monday morning.
  • Bouzidi previously drove the Yamaha T-Max in the Nov. 24, 2024 incident in which passenger Ramy Elgaml died, and he was later sentenced to two years and eight months for resisting a public official.
