  • Microsoft confirmed general availability on May 1, 2026 for Microsoft 365 E7, a suite that combines Microsoft 365 E5, Entra Suite, Microsoft 365 Copilot, and the new Microsoft Agent 365.
  • Agent 365 serves as a control plane for software agents, applying existing Microsoft security and compliance tools like Defender, Entra, and Purview to monitor, manage, and secure agent activity at scale.
  • To speed custom agent rollouts, Microsoft introduced the Agent Factory and a Pre‑purchase Plan (P3) that bundles licensing and discounts across Copilot Studio, Microsoft Foundry, Fabric, and GitHub.
