Microsoft Sets Early-May Xbox Game Pass Lineup With Day-One Forza Horizon 6 and Subnautica 2

The lineup follows last month’s price cut to the Ultimate tier, signaling a push to boost perceived value for subscribers.

Overview

  • Microsoft’s Game Pass update, published Tuesday, lists new titles arriving May 6–19 with several launching on the service the same day they release.
  • Forza Horizon 6 joins Game Pass on May 19 as a day-one release across console, PC, and cloud for Ultimate and PC Game Pass members.
  • Subnautica 2 arrives in Game Preview on May 14 as a day-one addition, while Mixtape debuts May 7 alongside other indie releases in the first-half slate.
  • Xbox is widening access by moving select games to the mid-tier Premium plan, with Descenders Next, Wheel World, Wuchang: Fallen Feathers, and Doom: The Dark Ages now listed for Premium as well as Ultimate.
  • Five titles leave the catalog on May 15, including Planet of Lana, Galacticare, Go Mecha Ball, Kulebra and the Souls of Limbo, and Paw Patrol Rescue Wheels: Championship, and outlets differ on whether the new batch counts 13 or 14 games due to some including a May 5 drop.
