Overview
- Disney’s Halloween party, which approached a near-season sellout on Friday, now shows only three dates available for general purchase: September 24 ($174), September 29 ($184) and October 25 ($224).
- Roughly 35 of the 38 scheduled party nights are no longer available for new purchases, representing about 92% of the season’s dates that have been marked sold out in Disney’s public inventory.
- A sold-out party night changes Magic Kingdom operations because the event is separately ticketed; regular daytime guests must leave before the 7 p.m. party start while ticket holders may enter as early as 4 p.m. and stay until midnight.
- Selective discounts have been offered to eligible Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club members on some dates through October 2, and one date (October 1) was reported as available only to DVC members.
- Ticket sales opened to select resort guests on May 5 and to the general public with date-based pricing on May 12, Halloween night sold out within hours, and the fast depletion of dates plus higher late-season prices is tightening fall trip planning for Magic Kingdom visitors.
