Michigan State Adds 2026 WR Rai'Shawn Elmore Ahead of Early Signing Window

The pledge reflects a late push by position coaches ahead of the Dec. 3–5 signing window.

Overview

Rai'Shawn Elmore, a 6-foot-2, 185-pound three-star wide receiver from Indian Trail, N.C., announced his commitment to the Spartans.
He previously gave a verbal to East Carolina before withdrawing it earlier this month and took an official visit to East Lansing in June.
Elmore is the 22nd pledge in Michigan State’s 2026 class and the third receiver, joining Samson Gash and Zachary Washington.
Wide receivers coach Courtney Hawkins was credited with leading the recruitment.
The commitment comes with the early signing period set for Dec. 3–5 as the program recruits through a 3–8, 0–8 Big Ten season and questions about head coach Jonathan Smith’s future.
