- Luminate counted 50.3 million on-demand streams for the album’s tracks, equal to 48,000 units, as total activity rose 36% in the May 1–7 tracking week.
- The jump followed the April 24 premiere of Michael, with the biopic reviving interest in Jackson’s catalog and helping send Billie Jean to No. 17 on the Hot 100 as several other classics reentered.
- Jackson also held No. 2 as his 2003 hits set Number Ones reached 62,000 units, making him the first act to occupy the chart’s top two spots since Future and Metro Boomin in 2024.
- The new week at No. 1 gives Thriller 38 total weeks atop this chart, the most by a male artist, while SZA’s SOS remains the overall leader with 46 weeks.
