Miami-Dade Deputy Shoots 15-Year-Old After Reported Gun Threat

  • The sheriff’s office said a handgun with an extended magazine was recovered near where the boy was hit, though relatives at the scene disputed that a gun was involved.
  • Three other juveniles were taken into custody, and investigators have not said what charges they may seek.
