Overview
- JSW MG announced on Monday that the Windsor has sold more than 75,000 units in less than two years and that the model accounted for over 19,000 sales in H1 CY2026.
- MG implemented a July 2026 price revision that raises outright-purchase variant prices by up to Rs 60,000, placing ex-showroom prices roughly between Rs 14.69 lakh and Rs 19 lakh.
- The Windsor continues to offer a Battery-as-a-Service option with an entry ex-showroom price of Rs 9.99 lakh and battery-usage charges of about Rs 3.9–4.5 per kilometre.
- Product choices include a 38 kWh battery with a claimed 332 km range and a 52.9 kWh Pro pack claiming 449 km, plus family-focused features such as flat-floor cabin and Aero Lounge rear seats.
- MG confirmed two new EVs and one plug-in hybrid for the financial year and is pursuing higher local content, while the price rise narrows the gap with rivals and makes per-kilometre BaaS costs a key factor for high-mileage buyers.
