Overview
- JSW MG Motor India introduced the Windsor EV Commute for commercial fleets at ₹13.49 lakh ex-showroom, with a Battery-as-a-Service plan to lower upfront cost.
- The trim deletes higher-end comforts to save money, replacing the 10.1-inch touchscreen with a basic radio and fitting manual A/C, a 7-inch instrument display and 17-inch steel wheels.
- The variant keeps the 38 kWh powertrain and key safety kit from other trims, including dual airbags, hill-hold assist, tyre pressure monitoring and four-wheel disc brakes.
- The ARAI-claimed range remains about 332 km on a full charge from the 38 kWh pack.
- Charging takes about seven hours on a 7.4 kW AC unit and roughly 45 minutes to go from 20% to 80% on a 45 kW DC fast charger.
