Mexico Releases 2026 Hurricane Forecast: 18–21 Pacific Systems, 11–15 Atlantic

Officials warn a likely El Niño could boost Pacific storm strength.

  • Civil protection steps are underway, including training for more than 1,200 responders and Conagua’s deployment of about 1,400 specialized teams across 21 regional emergency centers to speed flood control and water service in storms.
