- STC Metro and the city’s digital agency ADIP launched the mobile MI card for contactless entry at 1,800 validators across the network.
- The virtual card mirrors the physical MI card and works across the integrated systems, including Metro, Metrobús, Cablebús, Trolebús and Tren Ligero.
- Users sign in with a Llave MX account in App CDMX to enable the card, view balance in real time and manage fare payment from their phones.
- Top‑ups can be made in‑app via CoDi or with credit and debit cards after the initial 15‑peso recharge.
- Support is live for Android and Huawei devices with NFC, with iOS availability planned for a later phase.
