- Three Line 2 stations — San Antonio Abad, Chabacano and Viaducto — are closed all day on Sundays, with early closures at 22:00 Monday–Friday and 20:00 on Saturdays now in effect.
- Trains are running in two segments, Cuatro Caminos–Pino Suárez and Tasqueña–Xola, with free RTP buses bridging Xola–Pino Suárez.
- The adjustments began the week of February 9 as rehabilitation advances, with officials saying works will run through the year and local reports estimating the special hours through May.
- The overhaul spans 16 stations from Tasqueña to Revolución, renewing pump stations, track ballast and sleepers, signaling, cameras and the firefighting network, plus work on 28 trains.
- The broader program totals 1.5 billion pesos, including 1 billion for Line 2, and city officials say talks with the Metro union have paused planned mobilizations to avoid service disruptions.
