- Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum reported a cordial telephone conversation with Barbadian Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley in which both leaders agreed to pursue closer bilateral relations and deeper tourism cooperation.
- Sheinbaum publicly disclosed the call on her social media and said the two agreed on the importance of coordinating Mexico’s engagement with the Caribbean Community, known as CARICOM, to foster development.
