Mexico and Argentina Continue March Benefit Payouts; Holiday Gaps and April Inflation Rise Confirmed

Inflation indexing plus surname or ID-based calendars structure the current payout cycle.

Overview

  • Mexico’s Bienestar pension deposits for the March–April bimonthly period paused on Monday, March 16 for the Benito Juárez holiday and resume Tuesday, March 17, continuing through March 26 by first letter of the paternal surname.
  • This week’s Mexican schedule covers M on March 17, N/Ñ/O on March 18, P/Q on March 19, and R on March 20, with deposits made to Banco del Bienestar cards; 2026 amounts remain MXN 6,400 for Adultos Mayores, MXN 3,300 for Disability, and MXN 3,100 for Mujeres Bienestar.
  • Argentina’s ANSES March calendar, which began March 9, proceeds by DNI termination with an interruption in the fourth week for the March 24 holiday, and the month’s deposits already reflect the January INDEC inflation update of roughly 2.9%.
  • ANSES maintains the ARS 70,000 extraordinary bonus for lower‑income retirees and certain noncontributory beneficiaries, paying it in full at the minimum and tapering proportionally for higher monthly amounts up to the stated cap.
  • With INDEC reporting 2.9% inflation for February, ANSES will raise April 2026 benefits accordingly, lifting the minimum to about ARS 380,286–380,319 and taking the total near ARS 450,000 where the bonus applies.
