Mexican Golf Federation Unveils Centennial Plan With New Logos and Traveling History Exhibit

Leaders frame the centenary as a year to honor contributors alongside steps to expand access.

  • The FMG will mark its 100th anniversary on April 11, 2026, with commemorations woven through the 2026 competitive season.
  • Two main ceremonies are planned at the Campeonato Nacional Interzonas and July’s Campeonato Nacional Amateur, with centennial activities also set for the professional México Open in October.
  • A touring exhibition will visit clubs and national events, and new 1926–2026 branding debuts a centenary emblem whose double zeros form an infinity symbol.
  • A Museo Virtual de la FMG is announced to showcase players, coaches and clubs, with the launch date to be confirmed.
  • The federation targets at least six public golf schools from two currently operating and will bring back the Campeonato Nacional de Golf Adaptado in 2026.
