Overview
- A METRO bus and four personal vehicles crashed on the 11000 block of Almeda Road near Reed Road, leaving seven people taken to different hospitals.
- The wreck occurred Thursday afternoon and emergency crews from the Houston Fire Department remained on scene as responders treated victims and managed traffic.
- HFD Senior Capt. Raul Reyes told reporters there were no deaths reported at the scene and that the department did not yet know what led to the collision.
- Officials have not said whether the hospitalized people were bus riders or occupants of the other vehicles and they gave no update on the severity of injuries.
