Overview
- The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service was alerted at about 9:11am on Sunday to multiple heavy goods vehicles and trailers on fire at Methil Harbour in Fife.
- Seven appliances, alongside police and ambulance crews, responded as thick black smoke led to advice for people to avoid the area and for nearby residents to close windows and doors.
- Police said the fire was contained, the road between Harbour View and South Street reopened, and no casualties were reported.
