Overview
- Vistra will supply more than 2.1 GW from the Perry and Davis-Besse plants in Ohio and Beaver Valley in Pennsylvania, with a further 433 MW expected from planned upgrades in the early 2030s.
- Meta is financing two TerraPower Natrium units targeting about 690 MW of firm output by 2032, with rights to purchase power from up to six additional Natrium units through 2035.
- Oklo will develop a 1.2 GW energy campus in Pike County, Ohio, with first power targeted for 2030 as the company continues working through Nuclear Regulatory Commission approvals.
- The nuclear capacity is designated to support Meta’s Prometheus AI data-center cluster in New Albany, Ohio, a 1 GW build now under construction.
- The new agreements follow Meta’s earlier 20-year purchase from Constellation’s Clinton reactor in Illinois, and shares of Vistra and Oklo rose after the announcement.
