- Mercedes confirmed late Tuesday that the three specially named S‑Class limousines will arrive in India in July 2026 to run a dedicated India chapter of its year‑long global tour.
- One planned route, driven by the car named Gotlieb, will start in New Delhi and move north to Amritsar, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh with a crossing of Umling La, then descend to Lucknow, Varanasi and Patna before entering Bhutan and returning to New Delhi.
- The second route, shared by the cars named Carl and Bertha, will travel from Delhi through Agra, Jaipur, Udaipur and Ahmedabad to Pune, split into separate legs to Mumbai and Hampi, reunite in Bangalore at Mercedes’ India R&D centre, and finish via Goa in Mumbai.
