Overview
- Mercedes-Benz, which began taking orders Wednesday, priced the VLE 300 at €82,260 for five seats or €82,712 for six in Germany.
- The launch model uses a 115-kWh battery on an 800-volt system with up to 713 km WLTP range and DC fast charging at up to 300 kW.
- Mercedes says a 15-minute stop can add up to 355 km at a high-power charger, a claim aimed at long-distance shuttle planning.
- Launch packages add rear-axle steering, air suspension and a Sky View roof, and the cabin’s Roll & Go and Variable Rear systems let users move or remove seats with app-controlled presets.
- Mercedes plans a VLE 400 4MATIC, AMG styling lines, a longer body and an 80-kWh LFP option, with later base models lowering entry prices toward about €70,000 in 2026 and roughly €65,000 for a VLE 250 in 2027.
