Megan Thee Stallion’s Foundation Teams With Habitat to Repair 30+ Senior Homes in Houston and Dallas

The effort centers on safety and mobility repairs that support healthy aging at home.

Overview

  • Pete & Thomas Foundation and Habitat for Humanity announced the partnership Thursday, April 30, to fund and deliver repairs for more than 30 senior households across Houston and Dallas.
  • Work begins Saturday, May 2, in Houston’s South Park neighborhood with repairs on three longtime homeowners’ houses during Megan Thee Stallion Day.
  • Houston Habitat will choose 17 additional homes from applications received through February 2026, while Dallas Area Habitat will coordinate 10 homes in Dallas.
  • Repairs will focus on roofing, weatherproofing, structural stabilization, and mobility upgrades such as ramp installations to make homes safer for older adults.
  • Hotties Helping volunteers will join Habitat crews on May 2 for painting, caulking, and landscaping, as Habitat folds the effort into its Aging in Place program and temporarily brands its fundraiser “Let’s Open Thee Door.”
