Overview
- The Ministry of Education published the Sisu+ edital on Thursday, May 21, and set a timetable that keeps the institutional adhesion window open through May 29 and candidate registration from June 15 to 19.
- Only people who registered in the regular Sisu 2026 and are not matriculated may apply, and the system will automatically use the Enem edition (2023, 2024 or 2025) that gives each applicant the best weighted average.
- Applicants may list up to two course choices independent of earlier Sisu selections, update their socio‑economic questionnaire and change competition modalities, but quota claimants must prove entitlement at matriculation.
- Institutions that join must offer at least two vacancies per course and shift and guarantee at least one open‑competition spot per course, with a single regular Sisu+ call on June 24 followed by waiting‑list steps and matriculation beginning June 25 and July 1.
- The Sisu+ centralizes leftover vacancy offers to help universities avoid separate selection exams, speed seat filling in high‑turnover courses and give more candidates a chance to start classes in the second semester of 2026.
