McDonald’s France Launches €5 McDeal With €7.50 Best Of Prices Locked Through 2026

The chain says the cuts answer squeezed household budgets.

  • McDonald’s France, which launched the offers Tuesday, rolled out a €5 McDeal nationwide and cut select Best Of menus featuring McChicken, Filet-O-Fish, or Double Cheese to €7.50.
  • The new McDeal includes a burger with either two beef patties, two breaded chicken pieces, or breaded fish, plus a small drink, small fries, and a small dessert or hot drink.
  • The company says these prices will hold at least through the end of 2026 with a results review in early 2027, and it expects thinner restaurant margins to fund the cuts.
  • The €4 Happy Meal offer will feature more possible combinations, and it currently appears in about one in five transactions in France.
  • Citing an April Ifop poll that found 61% of French people feel their buying power has dropped, CEO Jo Sempels said the move answers consumer demand and not new low-cost rivals like Master Poulet or Tasty Crousty.
