- McDonald’s announced the U.S. MONOPOLY promotion on Tuesday, Sept. 22, and the game will run from Oct. 6 through Nov. 1 with pre-registration open in the app.
- Players must download the McDonald’s app, opt into MyMcDonald’s Rewards, register for the promotion, peel stickers on eligible items and scan codes in the app to redeem prizes.
- The prize slate includes instant food, loyalty points, trips, vehicles and a headline $1 million award that official rules list as a $50,000-per-year annuity paid over 20 years.
- The campaign offers bonus Chance Card plays for qualifying in-app purchases or for showing a Rewards code at kiosk, counter, or drive‑thru and funnels all gameplay and redemptions through the app.
- The U.S. return follows last year’s revival after a long absence and comes as McDonald’s confirmed MONOPOLY will not run in the UK or Australia for 2026.
