Overview
- NEET UG Round 1 registration on the MCC portal closes at 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 15, 2026, with fee payment open until 5:00 PM and choice filling available through August 17.
- MCC will process UG seat allotments on August 18, publish Round 1 results on August 19, and require reporting and joining at allotted colleges between August 20 and August 25, 2026.
- The official NEET MDS timetable is published with Round 1 registration and payment set for August 18–23, Round 1 AIQ admissions running August 18–26, subsequent rounds in September and an online stray‑vacancy round from October 12–16, and the MDS academic session beginning September 17, 2026.
- All candidates must use mcc.nic.in for new registration, upload photo and signature, pay the prescribed registration fee and refundable security deposit, lock choices inside the windows, and carry original documents such as the NEET scorecard, admit card, BDS degree, internship completion certificate and dental registration at reporting and verification.
- Counselling covers 15% All India Quota for MBBS/BDS/BSc nursing and 100% seats in deemed and central institutes for UG while MDS covers 50% AIQ plus 100% seats in deemed/central/AFMS institutions, and missing any registration, payment or choice‑locking deadline will make a candidate ineligible for that round’s allotment.
